PETA has obtained shocking undercover footage of cats being abused in an extremely cruel medical course at Washington University in St. Louis.

The footage shows two defenseless cats named Elliott and Jesse as they have hard plastic tubes repeatedly shoved down their small, delicate windpipes.

There is no drama, excitement, glory, happiness (well maybe if you’re the horse we’re handing hay to lol) or sadness in feeding hay & throwing hay…but it’s our NUMBER ONE need AFTER the save of a once slaughter bound, abused, neglected or abandoned horse.  We incur many, many, MANY expenses taking care of the horses in the Angel Acres Program but this is the one item our Velvet-Nosed Gang cannot do without.  Hay can literally mean the difference between life and death for a horse. Starving horses need it to begin their recovery after rescue, healthy horses need it to maintain good health and even older horses who may get senior feed need hay too. We do NOT receive any government funding or assistance. We rely on donations and support from the public to care for the horses in our program. Cows are being abused and exploited across India by the leather industry. During transport, their tails are broken and tobacco and chilli peppers are rubbed into their eyes. At slaughterhouses, conscious animals are left to slowly bleed to death. Some even suffer the agony of being skinned alive. Help PETA save India’s cows!

Right now, cows in India are being abused and exploited by the leather industry. They face a gruelling journey to slaughter as they are crammed into vehicles in such high numbers that their bones break. They will not be offered even a drop of water, and many will die en route.

Cows transported on foot may have theirtails broken and tobacco or hot chillies rubbed into their eyes in order to force them to keep moving. Others will collapse from hunger, exhaustion or injuries as they plod to their death.
